HQS at QCTiP in Berlin

HQS is excited to participate in the Quantum Computing Theory in Practice (QCTiP) 2025 conference in Berlin as a community sponsor. This event brings together leading researchers, industry experts, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements in quantum computing and its real-world applications.

As part of the conference, HQS will present two scientific posters, showcasing cutting-edge research on quantum simulations and algorithmic cooling:

Quantum algorithms for simulating systems coupled to bosonic modes using a hybrid resonator-qubit quantum computer

Presenter: Dr. Pascal Stadler, Senior Expert System Bath Applications
In collaboration with IQM Quantum Computers, we investigated how resonators can serve as computational resources in quantum processors. This research opens new possibilities for more efficient quantum simulations, particularly for systems with bosonic degrees of freedom, demonstrating practical applications on superconducting quantum hardware.

Demonstrations of System-Bath Physics on Gate-Based Quantum Computers

Presenter: Dr. Juha Leppäkangas, Senior Expert Open Quantum Systems
This poster presents a quantum algorithm for algorithmic cooling, leveraging inherent qubit noise to simulate equilibration dynamics in interacting spin systems. Tested on IBM-Q devices, the approach enables the stabilization and cooling of quantum states, with potential implications for error mitigation and quantum simulation.

Join Us in Berlin!

QCTiP 2025 provides a unique platform for fostering discussions between academia and industry to unlock the full potential of quantum technologies. We are looking forward to connecting with researchers, industry partners, and quantum computing enthusiasts at the poster session.
