From August 25–28, 2026, the SQA Conference – Superconducting Qubits & Algorithms will bring together the superconducting quantum computing community in Gothenburg, Sweden to discuss advances in hardware, control, and algorithms. (sqa-conference.org)

HQS Quantum Simulations will be represented on site by Dr. Pascal Stadler, who will present a poster on the paper “Quantum Simulation of Magnetic Materials: from Ab-Initio to NISQ.” The work demonstrates quantum simulations of low-energy magnetic excitations in chromium tri-halide monolayers, starting from ab-initio calculations and extending to NISQ-era hardware.
