The symposium "Machine Learning to Advance Quantum Technologies" (ML4QT) focuses on the significant potential of Machine Learning (ML) to enhance quantum hardware and software. It aims to explore how ML can speed up the development of quantum algorithms and improve the control of Quantum Processing Units (QPUs), while also showcasing the benefits of innovative ML-driven research in quantum technologies.
ML4QT serves as a dynamic platform for researchers and developers interested in the intersection of machine learning and quantum technologies, whether they are experienced in the field or just starting out. The event will also introduce the Applied Quantum AI Hub Heilbronn, a new center dedicated to applied quantum research and innovation. Additionally, ML4QT is the first step towards creating an annual event that encourages ongoing collaboration and exchange among experts from academia, research institutions, and industry.
Dr. Michael Marthaler will be on-site. Together with Dr. Jan Schnabel, Dr. Michael Marthaler will give a talk on machine learning with quantum computers.
