HQS presents innovative quantum computing software at ISC High Performance 2023
HQS Quantum Simulations, a leading provider of software solutions for quantum computing, will be exhibiting at ISC High Performance 2023, the trade show for HPC technology providers and users. The show will take place May 21-25 in Hamburg, Germany, and attracts HPC industry professionals from around the world. HQS will present innovative software applications for the simulation of quantum mechanical systems on high-performance computers at booth #815.
As part of the ISC High Performance 2023 in Hamburg, HQS Quantum Simulations will present its latest software solutions for the simulation of quantum mechanical systems. The synergy of High-Performance Computing and quantum technology enables the execution of particularly data-intensive and highly complex calculations with unprecedented efficiency. HQS develops software applications, workflows, and toolkits to enable seamless integration of quantum hardware into an HPC environment and use quantum simulation to explore physical systems at the quantum level and determine material properties.
Quantum advantage for industry
Quantum simulation offers innovative possibilities for developing and researching new materials, especially for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. For this purpose, HQS has developed the software application HQSNoiseApp based on the unique approach of simulating open quantum systems. In this approach, decoherence is integrated into the algorithm and is converted into computational power. This enables straightforward implementation on quantum hardware as soon as it is reliably available for industry.
Well-known customers such as BASF, Bosch, Forschungs-Zentrum Jülich, Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), and Merck are already using the HQSNoiseApp software application and are pioneers of this groundbreaking technology. “Our collaboration with HQS has been a valuable addition to our research at Merck.
