Meet HQS at the SC23

HQS Quantum Simulations is a leading provider of software solutions for simulating quantum mechanical systems. We are excited to announce our presence at SC23, a prestigious high-performance computing event taking place from 12-17 November 2023 in Denver, Colorado. This year HQS launched several cutting-edge software applications poised to revolutionize the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We look forward to welcoming you to Booth 975, where you can explore our software solutions and learn more about our recent activities. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:

Our Agenda at SC23

By closely linking high-performance computing and quantum simulation, HQS improves quantum computing performance and accuracy, driving innovative chemical research and analysis applications. In the context of the growing convergence of high-performance computing and quantum technology, Dr. Michael Marthaler, CEO and Co-Founder of HQS, will take part in a panel discussion entitled Quantum Computing and HPC: Opportunities and Challenges for New Companies in HPC. The discussion will explore the evolving landscape at the intersection of quantum computing and high-performance computing.

One of the other event's highlights will be the joint presentation Co-design in Practice: A Faster Path to Quantum Advantage by Dr. Michael Marthaler, CEO at HQS Quantum Simulations, and Dr. Peter Eder, Head of Partnerships at IQM Quantum Computers at the IQM Booth #2069 on Wednesday, 15 November, 15.15. HQS and IQM are joining forces to integrate conventional computing elements into quantum computers, enhancing their functionality and performance.

A New Era of Quantum Simulation with HQS Software Solutions

Quantum computers offer the ability to accurately simulate the quantum properties of molecules and chemical reactions, facilitating a deeper understanding of molecular structures, energy levels, and reaction pathways. HQS provides cutting-edge software applications to exploit the potential of quantum simulations. First, the HQS Noise App allows users to simulate open quantum systems on NISQ devices, offering ab initio material simulations and insight into environmental effects. The HQS Spin Mapper bridges solid-state physics, chemistry, and quantum technologies by identifying spin degrees of freedom in systems and molecules. Raqet, in its pre-alpha version, leverages noise to efficiently simulate large open spin systems, while Lattice FCI enables the creation and evaluation of many-body systems like fermions and spins in Python. These applications, compatible with the open source struqture and qoqo toolkit, represent the future of quantum molecular analysis, promising to reshape our understanding of quantum systems and practical applications.

Driving Quantum Advantage

HQS provides its expertise as part of the joint project QSolid within work package 'Benchmark & Co-Design,' to optimize algorithms and applications to harness the full potential of the quantum computer. QSolid represents a holistic strategy to build a robust quantum computer using cutting-edge German technology.

Stop by Booth 975 and discuss with us our recent activities at joint projects as QSolid and discover how our applications herald a new era of quantum simulations.
