Method for modeling a system using a quantum computer

The qubits of known quantum computers cannot be regarded as equivalent due to the production process; rather, a standard quantum computer has high-performance qubits with long decoherence times and good operational quality levels and has low-performance qubits with short decoherence times and poor operational quality levels.

The invention makes use of this by virtue of a system that is to be modelled with such a quantum computer being divided into a bad portion of low relevance and a cluster portion of high relevance, wherein the low-performance qubits are assigned to a coarse description of the bad portion and the high-performance qubits are assigned to an exact description of the cluster portion.
